Maths Problem.

Hi How is your maths? This is my presentation! We had to make a presentation for our Maths problem ,and it was about patterns. So first we had to work with Mrs Moore and then we had to make a blog post. This is it and when we were working we had to explain how we got the rule and why we had that answerer. When we have told her about our patterns we had to listen to people because they had to ask us some questions then we answer it. My first rule was , we started with 6 match sticks and then I use my 5 time tables because it is more easier then just + 5 and keep on doing that.Any ways I hope you like it.

Earthquakes

This is my presentation about my earthquakes I have done it on a app which is called E maze. Mrs Moore our teacher told us to do a blog post about it so I did , this is the one. So I hope you like it. Also we did it because if their is a earthquake we know what to do So when there is a earthquake we Drop,Cover,Hold.

Recycle station To Visy

On Wednesday we went on a recycle trip it was so fun because we saw this video about recycling,We wore some working clothes and we walked around the place to see all of the rubbish.Did you know that when you are throwing a bottles has to have there lids on or else it doesn't gets recycled.So this is my blog post about the recycling trip to Visy.

Maths with Bina.

                                                      Maths with Bina 

Last Thursday in the morning Mrs Moore made random groups. The first group she called out my name so it was on the list. All the others had to finish there Maths activities. When she said my name I had to go with my group to the mat.

 

The group that was on the mat they were working with a lady could Bina. She was a mathematician. So after that we had to read a problem that was called Toothpick squares.

We had to solve the problem with any group but Mrs Moore had to choose I was with Nejwa and Nikola so we did when we were working we could not understand the problem.

So since we did not understand we went to the mat and work altogether again just so every one under stands the problem.

So when we were talking about the problem we went back  and tried to do what Bina did.But when we did it every body made a mistake and every body thought that this is hard. 

So when it was hard every body did a big mistake it was the squares when Bina said how many tooth picks is in 2 squares and most of the group said that there is 8 tooth picks in 2 squares but actually Bina said it was actually 7 toothpicks.

The thing we did wrong was the squares and also solving the problem the problem was we were suppose to say 9 x 4=36.

Maths games.

For maths we had maths week and we had to make a slide show with cool maths game.It was so fun because we had to do the slide show with your group I was with Hermione,Haofei,Jemima and Fifita F I hope you like our slide show about the maths game.The reason why we had to do the maths slide show was because so we can show out family and friends how to play it and so we can play it.

C words

Hi room 14 had to make some C words like kind words like caring,common-sense and confident and that's what I mean about c words.Also mrs Moore said to all of us to get in groups and in my group was Mary,Dinah,Maxine and me it was so fun. I hope you like it.

How to be safe online

Hiit me,me and my friends have been working on a prezi,the prezi is called how to be safe online. It is very important to be safe online. I hope you like this prezi that our small group has made.

Measuring boxs.

    

Today Mrs Moore brought boxes  and I was thinking what will we do with it.

                         When Mrs Moore was talking about the boxes she said we will be doing measuring and it l l                           looks like it will be fun and when we started working on it she said to get your maths book                       and write down the letter of the small boxes in smallest to biggest.

   

When we were doing maths we had to go in groups I was with Faiupu and Arohi we were measuring box letter C we had to work out how many 1 cm cube will fit the the box and it was 8932 cm 3.

As the volume we had to do  length X width X height.

Also we were working rectangle prism and we were working on length,width and hight. it was so fun and we had to make one with our group.Also we had to know what are width,length and hight.

Book week.

Hi it was book week so we made a poster of book week some of us were doing it but the rest of us was 

not.

On book week we had took photos of us and our costumes.Our teacher Mrs Moore was dressed as Snow white and she had an apple.

Also we had 2 frames it was so fun and after that it was our turn I was dressed as a nurse and my friends were dressed as a Princess and Mickey Mouse.

I have just read your story and I just got some problems that I think that is crazy and can change. Number one why did you go inside a stranger's house straight away? Number two did you remember what Grumpy said to you about letting strangers in the house? Number three why did you eat an apple from a stranger. This bit is about what I like about your wonderful story. 1. I like how you said to the 7 dwarfs you will do cooking and     cleaning.You were always kind to everybody.  Also one last thing before I go did you know the kiss you had did you like or did you didn't like it?

Speech recognition

Hi Today Tuesday 9 June 2015 was so cool because a man called James came to our class and taught us some new things on our chrome book I felt so excited because  I was going to know heaps of stuff I can do on my chrome book.He was a texpert. .We learnt that you don't need to write instead we can talk to our chrome book like it's stupid. 

Jump rope for heart

On Thursday 28 may we went outside and did some skipping witch is called jump rope for heart Jessfally nailed it.

 

At skipping Haofei did 100 jumps he had did it so fast we couldn't beat his level.He has learnt how to skip fast in China.

 

This is the bit I like it is pear jump it was so fun .But the thing that was hard about pear jump

was we had to keep on going and never stop.

At skipping the thing that is kind of hard for me was relay  because you have to skip well you are running and you had to race a buddy from your group. 

I really like this bit it is  but the thing that is hard about this for me is how they swing the skipping rope and then we jump in in. 

Tennis

In term 2 we started playing tennis. We were practising controlling the ball  on the sweet spot sweet spot is the middle of the racket.

At tennis Josh got the tennis net and he told us to get a racket and a ball so we did.After a while we had buddies one at the left and one on the right it sure was fun doing tennis.

This is the part that I like. It is bouncing the ball with your racket and do you know the tall man he was our coach for tennis.

We had to spread around the hall so we did. After a while we started to bounce the ball  on top of the sweet spot.It was so hard because our coach said to try and control the ball on 1 side.

Paora was very good at controlling the ball on the sweet spot it was hard but fun.
